ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN

We are looking for a motivated, energetic and talented people to join our Operations team in Halifax.
 
Is this position for you? In this role you will:

 

  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain marine based electronic equipment and
systems on Uncrewed Surface Vessels (USVs)

  • Assist with the investigation and resolution of production issues involving parts, processes, and equipment

  • Assist R&D and Production with the goal of achieving excellence in new product introduction

  • Perform QA verification procedures, analyze test results, and prepare reports

  • Provide support with maintenance, processes, tests, and repairs as required

  • Maintain equipment and parts inventory

 
We’d love to work with you if you:
Hold an Electronic Technician diploma or equivalent experience
At least 2 years of practical experience in the industry
Exceptional problem-solving skills and time management skills, ability to update all the needed technical documents
Strong interpersonal skills and excel at working within a team environment as
well work independently
Fluency in written/verbal communication in English
Knowledge of network-based systems
Thorough understanding of electronics principles and design
Experience in marine electronics is an asset
