Marine Thinking Tests USV/MASS Technology in Challenging Weather Conditions with Transportation Canada
On November 13, 2024, Halifax faced tough weather conditions, with temperatures hovering around 2°C and strong northerly winds reaching up to 40 knots in the harbor approaches.
Despite these challenges, Marine Thinking’s team, along with experts from Transport Canada’s Innovation Center, successfully conducted tests on our Uncrewed Surface Vessel (USV) /Maritime Autonomous Surface Ship (MASS) technology.
The day proved to be an excellent opportunity to showcase the resilience of our technology under real-world conditions. It also facilitated meaningful discussions on the current state and future potential of MASS development.
